CLC was founded by lifelong Connecticut resident Brian Mayglothling. Brian was a two-sport All-American in both soccer and lacrosse at Wilton High School where he played lacrosse for legendary coach Guy Whitten. He went on to play both sports at the University of Notre Dame and was a 2x all-conference midfielder on the lacrosse team. After graduating as one of ND’s all time points leader for a midfielder, Brian then spent 4 years as an assistant coach in South Bend under current ND Head Coach Kevin Corrigan and then three more years at the University of Massachusetts under head coach Greg Cannella, where he also earned his Master’s degree in Sports Science.
Brian is currently the head boys lacrosse coach at Stratford High School, where he just completed his first year running the program. Prior to that, he coached both boys and girls lacrosse for the Storm in his hometown of Stratford. With all his years in the sport, Brian has developed relationships throughout the lacrosse world with high school coaches, colleges, and professional players and coaches.
